Despite the upheaval and change caused by COVID-19, some things stay the same. God is still calling people to serve Him in new ways and preparing us all to build for the future when His Kingdom will be fully established. This promise and commission includes the nations of the Arab world. This is the passion that drives the newly appointed leader of AWM-Pioneers.

Many of you will already know of Phil who has been in the home office for some years already. Phil comes across as a personable and friendly leader, approachable and always interested in whoever he is engaging with. He has excellent attributes both in working alongside others and presenting the mission to outsiders.

Phil has served on the leadership team of AWM-Pioneers since joining the organisation in 2013. Among other skills, he has experience in Bible teaching, supporter relations and fundraising to draw upon in his new role. Phil also has a personal connection with most of the 90+ workers who are sharing Jesus among Arabic-speaking Muslims through regular trips overseas and conferences over the last seven years.
